Financing Energy Efficiency and RES Projects in Public Buildings

The Ministry for Gozo (MGOZ) and the Malta Intelligent Energy Management Agency (MIEMA) are organizing a 1-day training event in the framework of the SHERPA and NEW FINANCE transnational projects which are co-funded under the Interreg MED program. Both projects fall under the program thematic area of “Efficient Buildings” and focus on energy renovation projects in public buildings. The event is being held on Friday 6th April 2018 at the Ministry for Gozo in Victoria, Gozo.

The aim of the event is to provide training to public authorities in relation to the use of innovative financing models, particularly Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) that can be used for the implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources (RES) projects in public buildings. The training will be led by experts from Italy specialized in financing of energy renovation projects in public buildings.
